LACCHC Program

The Louisiana Child Care Health Consultant (LACCHC) program trains health professionals to become Child Care Health Consultants. Consultants provide education, training, and technical assistance to child care facilities on health and safety. All licensed child care centers are required to receive 3 clock hours of health and safety training annually to maintain licensure. The LACCHC website provides information on how to become a consultant, a searchable list of all consultants, and a consultant portal with password-protected resources.
