New Report: Using Preconception Health Indicators to Reduce Disparities in Premature Deaths
The Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR) recently published an article entitled Disparities in Preconception Health Indicators — Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System, 2013–2015, and Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System, 2013–2014. The article highlights the importance of improving preconception health indicators, as they can be used to reduce disparities in the leading causes of death in early and middle adulthood using both Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) and Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System (PRAMS) data. You can read the article on the CDC’s website.
