2013-2015 Parish, Regional & State Level MCH Data Fact Sheets Now Available!
The Bureau of Family Health is pleased to announce the release of new regional, parish, and state-level Maternal and Child Health fact sheets! These fact sheets showcase common Maternal and Child Health indicators for each parish, region and the state as a whole. Indicators are organized into the following categories:
- Teen births
- Delivery characteristics & birth spacing
- Infant health indicators
- Fetal and infant mortality
- Child and adolescent mortality
All data are stratified by race. The latest fact sheets cover data from 2013-2015, though fact sheets with data from previous years are also available on ldh.la.gov.
These fact sheets are designed to provide partners, providers, policy makers and other stakeholders with timely, accurate statistics related to the health of infants, children, and mothers in Louisiana.
